Acetaia del Cristo at Caseifici Aperti 2026

On Sunday 24 May 2026, Acetaia del Cristo took part in the ‘Caseifici Aperti’ initiative at the Caretti Farm, a day dedicated to discovering Emilia’s finest food and drink products and their deep connection with the local area.
The event provided an important opportunity to introduce and sample together two icons of the local culinary tradition: Parmigiano Reggiano and Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena.


Visitors were able to savour both products on their own, to appreciate their distinctive characteristics, and as part of a series of pairings designed to highlight the interplay between their respective ageing processes. A natural encounter between two products of the highest quality that share the same values of patience, craftsmanship and respect for nature’s rhythms.


The day also offered both adults and children the opportunity to discover the world of Parmigiano Reggiano at first hand, observing the various stages of production and understanding how its aromatic complexity blends harmoniously with that of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO. An authentic experience, capable of conveying, through taste, the culture and identity of a region that has made quality one of its greatest assets.
